Nick Robins

Nick joined the LSE as a Professor in Practice in 2018 and leads the sustainable finance research theme, focusing on financing a just transition and the sustainable central banking.

Prior to joining the LSE, Nick has held roles as Co-Director of the UN Environment’s Inquiry into a Sustainable Finance System, the Head of HSBC’s Climate Change Centre of Excellence and Head of Sustainable and Responsible Investment at Henderson Global Investors. Nick has also worked at the European Commission and the Business Council for Sustainable Development. Nick is the co-founder of Planet Tracker and Carbon Tracker.
