Our work
The Just Transition Finance Lab produces a wide range of outputs related to our four interlocking objectives. These can be in the form of research publications, case studies, events, media outputs and video.
The Lab operates within the Grantham Research Institute and the London School of Economics. Therefore, it harnesses the LSE’s excellence of academic research alongside policy analysis and guidance crucial to influence decision-making. The Lab acts as a convener of academic insight alongside bringing together practitioners from finance, business, the trade union movement, civil society and policymaking. This nexus between research and practitioners makes the Lab a unique organisation delivering impact in this emerging field of sustainable finance. We catalyse progress towards the goal of mainstreaming just transition practices across all sectors of the economy with ‘first of their kind’ initiatives that can be replicated and scaled by practitioners.
