From JET-Ps to Country Platforms - how to design fit-for-purpose institutions for the just transition - Video

This webinar drew on lessons from JET-P countries for the design of Country Platforms. Sangeeth Selvaraju and Anisa Pratiwi present the Lab’s research in this area, which argues that next-generation platforms must be country-owned, programmatic and strategically use grant finance to absorb risks, strengthen domestic institutions and ensure workers and communities are engaged. Our analysis of the use of funds in Indonesia and South Africa was discussed, revealing key insights for the design of future country-led transition platforms.
